Claudia's Mother
We were extremely lucky to meet Susan just as we had just received our daughter's diagnosis in Denmark.
Although her work had as its objective the development of language and the improvement of communication, she also introduced other types of skills, such as shift work, waiting or the recognition of emotions through play, which improved our day to day.
My daughter, like most autistic children, lacked functional language so communication was almost impossible and tantrums were constant. The disruptive behaviors were so frequent that any daily activity was very difficult to complete. In less than 6 months with Susan we achieved great achievements. Advances in the area of language and communication reduced disruptive behaviors and allowed us to establish some routines and rules in our daily lives.
My little girl also loved the sessions with Susan, so the enjoyment and happiness that working with her speech therapist generated in her positively affected the rest of the areas: learning, motivation, behavior... The feedback that Susan gave us after each session, which included suggestions or exercises to do at home, became essential tools that definitely improved our quality of life.
Susan has enormous and up-to-date knowledge of the subject she works on. On the other hand, her enormous knowledge is combined with the love she feels for her profession and for her childhood. The result of this equation is clear, Susan has been the best professional my daughter has ever worked with.
Now that we no longer live in Denmark we miss her a lot but the seed she planted has germinated and grown successfully and today my daughter is a 5-year-old girl who attends a regular school with support, who enjoys extracurricular activities with other neurotypical children and who is happy interacting with other children and adults.

Pascual's mother
My son Pascual, when he was 3 years old, was diagnosed with Specific Mixed Language Disorder and Phonological Disorder. The pediatrician recommended that he should attend a language school and speech therapy.
In 2018 we were very lucky to meet Susan, she did a wonderful and very professional job with Pascual, my child got very frustrated because she had a hard time making herself understood, I was the only one who knew what she wanted to say.
All the work that Susan did with Pascual was very important for him, the therapies were very professional and dynamic, the use of educational games was a tremendous contribution, Pascual always looked forward to classes with "Aunt" Susan.
Susan is a great professional and she was always concerned about continuing to specialize to have more tools to work with children. Pascual made a lot of progress and was discharged.
Now he is 10 years old, he has no language problems, on the contrary, he expresses himself very well. I am sure that all the work that Susan did also served a lot for his development at school (he is very good at it). and his game therapies were a great contribution because Pascual really enjoys board games and that gets him out of being connected to a screen all day.
I can only thank Susan for all her love and professionalism, he does a great job with the children. Pascual always remembers "Aunt" Susan with great affection and joy.
